Our Service Pledge To You:
As a Ruby Lane shop, we must honor all the Ruby Lane guarantees and return policies as listed with the following additional courtesies and considerations. If you are not pleased with your Ruby Lane purchase from Docs Antiques, then please contact us within 7 days of delivery of your item to arrange for its return and to receive a refund of the purchase price, minus a 5% restocking fee if the item cost more than $500 (see our shop's Terms of Sale details). Postage and insurance are not refunded. Refunds for items under $500 have no restocking fees. Also, we want you to feel completely confident and secure in all your Ruby Lane purchases and that is why we fully guarantee all our items. In fact, our restocking fee is waived and a full refund including shipping is provided if the item you purchased from us is not accurately described -- just notify us within 7 days and tells us what was incorrect. Of course, all return items must be must be received back in exactly the same condition as originally listed and must retain all security and identification marks. Do not return any item that was damaged during shipping since that will void the original insurance. Instead, notify us immediately so that we can also assist you in filing an insurance claim. Finally, we have not had a single Ruby Lane item returned by any of our Ruby Lane patrons to date and so please browse our shop knowing that we fully guarantee all our antiques and merchandise.
 
Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
We do not charge any handling or packing fees on purchases. All US mainland buyers pay the flat shipping amount as stated for each item. Insurance is included in the shipping quotes for all mainland US addresses. Discounts on shipping are offered when multiple purchases can be safely packed in the same box. All international buyers will pay only actual shipping & insurance costs and these are determined upon receiving your address details. We typically provide two options for international shipping. Docs Antiques is not responsible for any losses or damage if an item is sent uninsured (formal record & shipping receipt will be provided). Only the USPS will be used for shipping in the United States and all buyers must confirm that their address is secure to receive packages. Restocking Fee:
There is no restocking fees for purchases under $500 that are returned without damage, just contact us within 7 days of receipt and let us know that you wish to return the item. Any item over $500 that is returned will require a 5% restocking fee unless it was not accurately described in terms of condition, age, or material description. Do not return any item damaged by shipping since that will void the original insurance -- instead, contact us by e-mail and we will help you file a claim. You will need to pay for return shipping and insurance on any returned item and please carefully repack them as originally sent. Any item damaged by shipping needs to be submitted to the USPS (or your Postal Department if received internationally) in a timely manner along with all of its packaging in order to file an insurance claim. If you are unsure about how to file a claim, then please email us and we will assist you.

Other Information:
Buyers may pay with USPS money orders, PayPal, personal check or contact me for other options. All checks must be drawn on US banks and also have a proper US 9 digit routing number. I ship quickly once your payment clears and please recognize that US checks/e-checks may take up to 12 days to do so. Also, your shipping address must be secure to receive packages and your PayPal address should verify and match or you will need to send me a note ahead. Thank you
