So soft and quiet describes this print of a redheaded mother with her golden haired child!! The original was done by John Knowles Hare, 1884-1947. He was well known for his dry point etchings and magazine covers. Seen on the Saturday Evening Post and The Country Gentleman, he did many 1920's type girls. This has a strong Art Deco feel. Simply matted with gold, it is acid free with new dust cover and hardware. It is in a delightful frame from the same era. Slight crease at the top of the print, which is very hard to see. Both print and frame are in great condition for the 1920's!! 7" by 9".
