Wonderful graphics make this Dole Pineapple advertising fantastic!! Inside a big pineapple are barges filled with pineapple leaving Lanai and heading to the Honolulu cannery. Underneath it explains that 3/4 of the fruit and 1/3 of the juice is heading to the Armed Forces. In the future they promise you may have all the fruit and juice you want. This is a beautiful old Hawaiian print in a beautiful old wooden frame. The original was done by Lillie Hart Gay(1871-1956). She was a well known for her tropical florals. Many of her originals are in private collections in Hawaii. The colors are still wonderful with the purple bougainvillea and palms and even in the print you can see the texture she used.
