Vintage Victorian Style Sterling Onyx Brooch Bird Filigree

This is a delicate Victorian style sterling silver brooch of a circle with a bird with an onyx eye at the top. The bottom center has a small square onyx stone. There is filigree set between the two circles and the bird has lots of detail for the feathers. This is an early quality jewelry piece both in design and construction.

This pin is 1 inch. There is a maker's mark on the top of the early type of safety clasp that is not legible.
