Wirework Brooch Goldtone Turquoise Color Stones Faux Pearls

Here is a vintage brooch that is gorgeous but also a bit of a mystery. There is wonderfully detailed wirework in a goldtone metal. There are stones set that may be genuine pearls and turquoises. In the center is a string of tiny beads held in various places by wire. They may also be the 'real' thing.

The clasp on the back has a patent that was applied for in 1935 and issued in 1937. That may not help date the pin since the clasp looks to have been a replacement. This also may have originally been a sash pin.

Possible origins include Portugal, Middle East, Austria/Hungary or Germany based on style of wirework.
