Here is a Victorian era collar pin that has a gorgeous oval sapphire color stone set in a rich old goldtone setting that has a double cord style band.

This brooch has the look of gold and genuine sapphire but since they are not marked, I have listed both as having those colors.

The color in the stone is gorgeous and draws your eye to this

5/8 by 3/8 inches.

Collar pins were used by both men and women to hold the two edges of the collar in place so that they did not roll up.

There is a C type clasp which dates this no later than the Victorian era.

Excellent vintage condition in keeping with the age of this brooch.
