About Us
About The Den of Antiquity: Hello, my name is Esther Schwartz. I have been collecting and offering dolls to the public since 1962. If you have been an active collector or dealer, I believe that my reputation may precede me. If you glance through Jan Foulke’s 7th edition of the Blue Book, the Bible of collecting and pricing, you will notice that many of the dolls which she pictures are from my collection.

I have been a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs for over thirty years. I belonged to the Scranton, Pa. Doll Club where I started organizing and running doll shows. I belong to the Norwich, NY chapter of the UFDC, and served as its President. I organized, along with four other people, the National Antique Doll Dealers Association (NADDA) which has become a prestigious organization, founded to inform the public about the joy of collecting dolls and promoting complete and accurate portrayal of merchandise by dealers.

I look forward to sharing the love of fine dolls with you.
