Signed Designer Costume Jewelry, Early and 1930's Art Deco, Beautiful Unsigned Costume Jewelry
The elaborate design in the front of the bracelet begins with a white iridescent cabochon at the center (it appears to be copying an opal, and does a good job). A smaller cabochon is a little lower on one side and a little higher on the other. A design that looks like vines and leaves made from clear rhinestones is fixed with a three dimensional look; above, below and to the sides of the center motif. There is a pink oval cabochon at the top of the center pattern, and at the bottom of the center pattern. The vines and leaves made of rhinestones that extend to the sides of the bracelet has a small iridescent white stone on each side; again very realistically mimicking opals.
The bracelet will fit a 7” or smaller wrist. The center of motif is about 3” in length and 1/2" in width. This is a very well made bracelet; in excellent condition. The use of the faux opals and the elaborate design, suggests to me that this was made by a designer. It is perfect to dress up those winter pastels, or with a spring wardrobe, or you could use it as an ornament, since it shines brightly.
