Signed Designer Costume Jewelry, Early and 1930's Art Deco, Beautiful Unsigned Costume Jewelry
They are Art Deco paste chandelier each of which consists of two, two mind you, not one, graduated and articulated bezel set diamante stepped triangular links. Suspended from these links is a disc-shaped faceted drop, and to add to the elegance all of this is suspended from a prong-set chaton surmount. Look at the pictures and the 20s come alive. Envision a flapper girl (technical term, not sexism) wearing them and you probably have recaptured the original owner wearing them to a night out on the town during the Roaring Twenties. In case you are still not swept off your feet by the description and ready to Charleston, we will give technical details. These screw-back earrings are 2 1/4” by 3/4”. The material of the drop is a glass disc with bezel-set diamante paste all of which is set in white metal. They are, to round out the picture, in excellent condition. A real find, and this is not drifting into hyperbole.
