Victorian Festoon Garnet Necklace

This is a spectacular festoon garnet Victorian Necklace. The clasp reads “STERLING”. At the center of this necklace is has a multi-facted circular garnet surrounded by twelve small garnets. There are two chains of small garnets that make up the festoon. The lower chain has eight small round individually set garnets on the bottom chain and three small round individual set garnets on the top chain. The chains come together with a rosette that is made of a center garnet and six garnets that encircle the center stone. There are three small garnets that attach to a silver chain. All the garnets are open in the back.

The necklace measures 15 1/2" in length. The garnet design measures 4”. The center is 5/8” in diameter. This is really a very elegant piece and one that you will want to pass down to younger members in the family.
