How can one call metal chains and beads romantic? Only someone like Alice Caviness could pull that off! There is a softness to the design, with the pattern on the necklace being repeated twice. There are ten very thin lace like silver tone chains, followed by a row of round cut out filigree beads. The chains are luminous links,and if one looks very closely the pattern appears as if the links were made of petite paper clips connected to one another, swaying gracefully, and falling like soft lace. The filigree silver tone round beads accent the chains; creating a contrast that gives a wistful look.

Nine round filigree beads are arranged in a cluster on the the clip earrings; each one connected by the same thin chain,thereby replicating the necklace. The chains are not noticeable unless you separate the beads. It is interesting that even that which isn't visible is of the same high quality as the rest of the set.

The necklace has a hook closure with an additional seven round beads. The necklace with the extension measures 20" while the earrings are about 1 1/2" long. The set is in mint to near mint condition. It is wonderfully feminine in a very unusual way. An important find for Alice Caviness fans!
