Amazing Art Nouveau dachshund metal tray

Aren't they cute, Ms and Mr Dachshund? This is a very good, expressive and detailed representation in high relief of a couple of dachshunds. At each corner of the triangular tray there is a medallion with the head of an animal. This pin tray is 6¾" (17 cm) at the widest and probably made from silver-plated pewter. It has number 284 in relief on the back and stands on 4 little feet. It has a few age marks but is still in very good condition considering it dates from around 1900.
