Lucky 50s chimney sweep nightlight/ perfume lamp

He is to die for and looks terrific when lit! It is extremely rare to find a little boy version of this kind of nightlights or perfume lamps. Usually they represent animals. In fact, it's the first one we ever found in 22 years. He is a cute boy very nicely handpainted in the Goebel/Hummel style. On his hat there is a perfume container and with the heat of the lamp, the chimney sweep becomes a room scenter. This lovely boy is meant to bring you a lot of luck: apart from his ladder he is holding a 4-leaf clover in his hand. At the back, he is resting on a red brick chimney. He is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. About 7½" (19 cm) high. Some very faint marks are incised under the lamp, but it is hard to make out what they are. Judging by the nice quality we would reckon that it was made in Germany in the 50s.
