These are gorgeous Antique French Enamel Napoleon III era Serves enamel & gilded bronze opera glasses. These are in fabulous condition and are the most detailed pair I have seen. The are figural flower design which are different on both sides. One side has lovely open blooming pink roses and the other side are blue and yellow pansies. The detail is remarkable and on every other section on the white enamel work has rotating pink and blue wreaths of flowers.

The cobalt blue enamel is covered with tiny gold stars. The enamel work is completely hand painted. The mother of pearl pieces are in excellent condition. They could use just a tiny bit of cleaning but I have left them original. The frame work of the glasses are done in brass and I have not cleaned or polished them.

The condition is remarkable and there are no chips, nicks, hairlines or damage to any of the enamel. The only apology would be is that there are 2 tiny Semi-opaque glass or enamel jewel cabochons that are missing. They are in perfect working order. They measure 4" across and stand 2 1/4" tall.

Of all of the many Sevres Opera glasses I have seen these are the most detailed and beautiful pair I have seen. They are fit for a queen. Please feel free to request additional photos and questions are always welcome. Enjoy!
