Art Nouveau French Amethyst Glass Vases with Enameled Design

These significantly sized vases (fourteen inches tall, 6 1/4 wide) which I bought near Lyon, France, were probably mold-blown. There is the hint of a mold line running vertically on each side, top-to-bottom, and there's a beautiful polished pontil mark on the bottom about the size of a silver dollar. The glass is amethyst-colored, with Art Nouveau floral designs enameled on the surface; there's also a geometric lacy gold design at the top, and gold at the bottom. They're in perfect condition. Old world craftsmanship and design at its best!
