Large, over size elegantly shaped piece. Beautiful Sevres Olive green ground decorated with fine quality gold encrusted gilding. Opulent dore bronze mounts with original mercury gilding intact.
Exquisite hand painted portrait miniature covering almost the entire dome top lid.
Sevres mark to base together with star with BS and inscription which looks like Latin (difficult to read).
Dating from the 19th century.
Very good antique condition throughout with no damage
