1968-1969 Mattel Talking Barbie wearing tagged "Pink Premiere". Vibrant face color with no rubs, long eyelashes with a few missing from each eye, as pictured. Long, full, un-cut hair re-tied into a braid. The body still has the talking pull string though she is mute. Tight right arm and leg joints with knees that click through 3 positions. Left arm comes off, though can be held in the socket with her clothes or can just be glued together. No chew marks or stains. Rare J.C.Penny exclusive "Pink Premiere" dress and coat only in fair condition. Dress has a vertical tear the length of the front bodice and a hole under, back of one arm opening, a faded gold stain on the front top ruffle. 2 button and hoop back closures with both string hoops missing. Tagged coat has white fade spots through out, no shredding to the foil strand collar. 2 front hook and eye closures, on front, with 2 gold button ornaments. Back of doll is marked "1967 Mattel Inc. U.S. & Foreign Pats.Pend. Hong Kong".
