The cameo in the necklace hangs from decorated scrolled hearts that are soldered to a twisted gold chain. It has three free swinging dangles hanging from the bottom. The length of the design from the top of the scrolled hearts to the bottom of the dangle is slightly over 3 ¼” and it is 1 ½” wide. The golden colored cord is 24” long. The charming dangle earrings are almost ¾” wide and 2” long. The clamper bracelet has the standard 2 ¼” clamper opening and is 1” wide at the top. The brooch is a modified fleur-de-lis design. It has one free swinging dangle from the bottom and is 1 ¾” wide and slightly over 2 ½” long. The set is in very good condition with slight wear to the gold colored plating, no missing rhinestones and no mars to the decals. If you look closely you will note that one earring does not have the same dark accents on the ladies skirt as the other. The original top coat is in place on this piece so this is original to the manufacturing process. Also, please note that the couple is sitting in the decal on the necklace and earrings and standing on the brooch and clamper bracelet. This is an amazing parure and very different from what we normally expect from D&E but if the romantic Victorian period speaks to you then this set is bliss.
The brooch and earrings, in different colors, are shown on page 63 of The Art of Juliana Jewelry.
