Of all the Juliana milk glass cameos the blue is my personal favorite. I think it’s the contrast between the dark blue milk stone chatons and the light sapphire rhinestones or maybe it’s the iridescent glow of the beautiful silhouette who sits atop the layers of rhinestones. I may never know why this one strikes me so deeply, but it does.

The oval cameo of the brooch sits atop two layers of rhinestones, the first alternates between deep blue milk stones and rhinestones of light sapphire. The second row is purely the sparkle of the light sapphire rhinestones. The brooch is 2 ¼” long by 2” wide. It is ¾” deep. The earrings, both a left and right facing earring (you wouldn’t believe how often you end up with two facing the same direction), are 2” long by ¾” wide.

The plating is shiny gold tone and shows no wear. The rhinestones all flash their fire. This set has the one piece pin assembly, heavy plating and shiny gold tone plating of D&E manufactured pieces. It is featured on page 76 of The Art of Juliana Jewelry.
