DeLizza & Elster Fall Watermelon Parure

This stunning Juliana set is seldom seen in this color scheme – and I’ve never before run across this particular style of dangle earrings. With each new set of Delizza and Elster jewelry that is discovered I wonder what other wonderful treasures are there just waiting for us to find.

This watermelon set features the autumn hued watermelons interchanged with loops and florets of fall shaded rhinestones. It is a stunning combination that commands attention. The watermelon stones are green centered fading to brown and dark red with a hint of blue thrown in. The equivalent Swarovski rhinestone colors used are olive, tourmaline, crystal aurora borealis, light smoked topaz, smoked topaz, sun and Madeira topaz.

The necklace is 16 ½” around and 1” wide. The bracelet is 7 ¼” by 1” wide. The dangles are slightly over 2” long by ¾” wide and the fascinating brooch is 2 ½” by 2”. The set is in excellent vintage condition with some light wear to the back of the necklace and a slight darkening on some of the Madeira Topaz rhinestones, although they do still sparkle. This color is no longer being made by Swarovski and finding replacements is almost impossible. The watermelons all look great and the rhinestones sparkle.
