This well known and much loved Juliana brooch deserves all the accolades it has received over the years. All you have to do is look at the back so see how intricate the design and workmanship of this baby are. It was made in three layers. The bottom layer lays flat and is made up of rows of open backed amber navettes and topaz aurora borealis chatons. The next layer has open backed navettes that lay at a 45 degree angle to the lower layer. Finally it is topped by two circles of topaz aurora borealis and a center of a large light topaz chaton.

The brooch is slightly over 2 1/2" in diameter and has a depth of 1/2". The setting is gold tone and shows no wear. The rhinestones are all full of sparkle and light.

Besides being a well known piece of Juliana jewelry this brooch has figure eight solder puddles, heavy solder, shiny gold tone plating, a one piece pin assembly and even triple round solders, or infinity solder marks. It is in excellent condition.

Swarovski equivalent colors are smoked topaz, light Colorado topaz and topaz aurora borealis.
