Our Service Pledge To You:
Deb Scott Designs Jewelry wants you to be delighted with your purchase. All items are returnable, please refer to the Ruby Lane Return policy for details. We think you will love your purchase! All emails will be answered in a timely manner. Customer service is of utmost importance to us.

We accept Paypal, Credit Cards through Paypal, Personal Checks and Money Order (from US drawn banks only).
 
Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Shipping and insurance is per item description. Orders over $50.00 MUST have a confirmed address, purchases that do not have a confirmed address are subject to cancellation.

Your item will arrive in a Deb Scott Designs gift box.

International - Please email me for a shipping quote BEFORE placing a purchase order.

Due to new shipping laws, jewelry Items will be REGISTERED first class international shipping, this is for your protection. Payment via Paypal ONLY. Please be sure to email me BEFORE placing a purchase order.

CANADA ~ Due to new postal increases, shipping to Canada is now $13.00 registered mail. It is a Canadian Law that all jewelry items must be Registered.

Restocking Fee:
No restocking fee, however shipping fees can not be refunded. Custom orders are not returnable.

Other Information:
Good news! No tax on the merchandise - you are purchasing from an Oregon business.

** You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay with your charge card through Paypal, simply follow the instructions after you receive the total for your purchase order.

Personal checks gladly accepted. Please allow 10 business days for the check to clear the bank before merchandise will be shipped. Returned checks for insufficient funds will be charged a $25.00 bank fee.

You will receive an email when the check has cleared and the merchandise is shipped.

All personal checks and money orders must be from US drawn banks only.

PURCHASE ORDERS:
Your purchase order is a commitment, please order responsibly! If you are new to online shopping and have questions or concerns please don't hesitate to email me, I will gladly help you in anyway I can.

PAYMENT TERMS:
Payment by Paypal is required within 3 days of the confirmation/invoice email I send you. Money Orders & Personal checks (US drawn Banks only), are to be received within 10 days. Failure to comply or email me for an extension will result in your item being placed back in stock.

Your attention to this is sincerely appreciated. Your purchase will be shipped within 3 business days of receiving payment via Paypal, or at the end of the 10 business day holding period or when check clears the bank which is first on all Personal Checks from NEW Deb Scott Designs customers. If you have shopped with Deb Scott Designs previously, and are in good standing, your Personal Check will not be held.

HOLDS/LAYAWAY:
I will be happy to hold an item for you, at your request, for a reasonable amount of time.

I will accept LAYAWAY terms also. Contact me through email to make any arrangements you may need.

LAYAWAY PLAN:
For your convenience, Deb Scott Designs has a layaway plan available for purchases totaling $100 or more. Simply request a layaway plan when you submit your purchases through Ruby Lane in the comments section.

Purchases between $100 to $200 – 2 payments
The total may include a single or multiple items totaling $100-$200. The first payment will be 50% of the total at time of purchase. The balance plus shipping will be due 30 days after the initial purchase date. You may make payments in between, just be sure to notify me that you are doing that so I can keep track.

Purchases above $200 – 3 payments
Purchases totaling over $200 at one time may be split into a 60 day payment plan with the initial payment being 50% of total purchase, the second payment due 30 days later at 25% of the total, and the third payment of the remaining 25% due 60 days after initial purchase date for the final payment plus postage.

Please note I reserve the right to terminate the payment plan at any time if payments are not received as scheduled. If a sale is canceled prior to completion by either party, the initial payment of 50% is non-refundable.
