Important c.1820 American watercolor of a very attractive thin dapper young man holding a Wolf head Cane and wearing a Georgian animal brooch.
The watercolor is housed in it's original gold court frame. I have not removed the original backing to examine for possible subject or artist identification.
The detail and skill it took to complete this painting of the highest talent level. The vibrant use of color on this portrait are breathtaking. With the frame the piece measures 15 x 17" inches.
You will not locate a finer example.
