This Miriam Haskell candy apple red unsigned brooch has bookchain links and glass beads. This is one of the earlier pieces around the WWII era. Haskell pieces were unsigned until the late 1940's. Note the pierced plastic backing that has been stitched as the early pieces were. Haskell also used a certain style of leaf in her jewelry and if you research, you will find that the leaves on this brooch are identical to those used in her pieces. This brooch also has silver tone metal rings that the glass beads are attached to. There are very unusual shaped beads and round beads that have pin heads. The leaves are glass as well. Please be advised hat the beads are a darker red than the photos show. This brooch measures 2 3/4 long by 3 inches wide Fabulous!
