Stangl made most of their bird figures in the 1940’s and early 50’s. This beautiful Oriole comes with the bright bold colors. It stands just under 3” tall and 4 ¾” from beak to tail. It has the brown “Stangl” mark on the bottom, as well as #3402 incised and the artist’s initials. From what I can tell from the list of Stangl artists, this is an unidentified artist from the Trenton plant. It is in excellent condition – no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs. Brighten up your collection with their gorgeous bird!
