This is a fantastic 5 light slip shade chandelier. It is in fantastic condition. The center piece is the most gorgeous Butterscotch Bakelite and so is the finial knob. I have restored the center metal body with blacked bronze paint to match the original color. The gold has also been painted along with the ceiling cap.Then lacquer was applied for longevity. I left the bottom of the chandelier original. It has been rewired, but one should always have all electrical items checked by their electrician before installing. Hangs 34-1/2" and the chain is 11". It is about 19" in diameter. This is the one you have been waiting for. The hanger post has a patent date of 1908. The slip shades are in great condition having some minor roughness to the unseen edges and a couple of minor color losses on the tips.
