Great old piece is made of brass and cast iron then it was painted over. Paint is sticking very well and was probably factory done. Ashtray is not original, but fits very well and will be perfect for an ashtray or can be used as the base for a planter. It is and old ashtray from the 1920's and the flower is etched on the underneath. It is very popular to use these as plant stands. Another great use is in the bathroom for a standing soap dish next to your tub. 26 - 1/2" tall with the ashtray being 7 - 1/2" across. The mouth of the dragon is perfect for holding your cigarette or cigar.
