Rare Dutch Figured Mahogany Corner Cabinet, circa 1840!

Being offered for sale is a very, very rare Dutch display cabinet of the finest quality, circa 1840. This fabulous display/corner cabinet has serpentine shaped glazed doors; top and bottom elaborate molded serpentine cornice with a domed pediment. Pediment & doors have applied foliate, ribbon & basket carved decoration! All is supported with stylized hairy claw and ball feet. Did I mention that it fits in a corner?! This feature alone makes it rare among dutch cabinetry. The combined effect is an awesome display of imagination and quality construction. The condition is well above. The interior houses 2 shelves in the top and 1 in the bottom. Dimensions: 100" tall at the tallest point, 54"wide, at the top of the pediment it is 48" wide. This is a rare and wonderful piece not to be found.
