This is a Saucy Walker Doll made by Ideal Doll Company between 1951-55. She's 16" tall with Tosca Brown hair and blue eyes. She's in unplayed with condition but her walking mechanism needs work...her legs lock into position, but they don't move back and forth; she sits very nicely.. Her crier works perfectly and she says mama. Her Tosca Brown hair is very clean and it glistens. Her clothing is crisp and clean and original...her socks and shoes are also original. Her beautiful blue/green eyes open and close perfectly. The backs of her hands have a touch of blush. The graphics are her box are nice and the box is in good condition, so it will keep her safe for many years to come. A very lovely addition to your doll collection!

Questions on Eyes: Are the whites of her eyes yellowed? Do the eyes stay in position? Are the eyelashes all there? Her eyes are slightly yellowed. Her eyes stay in position and open and close perfectly and all of her eyelashes are there.

Questions on Hair: Is the cloth part of the wig showing just above the bangs and to the far right and left? Yes, the cloth part of the wig shows on the left and the right…however, I believe that it’s always been that way as her hair was never combed.

Legs: What do you think is wrong with the walking mechanism? Can she stand and sit? She used to walk…many years ago…when I took her out of the box after years of storing, it was as if her walking mechanism had frozen. She sits and stands perfectly.

Ownership: Was this doll your doll as a child? Does this come from a non smoking environment?: Yes, she was my doll and only displayed and held carefully now and then. She's never been in a smoking environment.

Smell: Difficult to describe, but does the doll smell like smoke, or cooking or sunshine? :) She smells good…almost sweet… like home to me…no smoke, no cooking odors… just very pleasant.

Clothing: Do the clothes come with her? Do you have additional clothing and shoes available?

Yes, the clothing that's she's wearing is included. I may have another dress that needs some mending; however, if I do, I'll just include it.

Layaway - Do you offer a layaway program? Yes, 1/4 down and 3 equal payments of 1/4 of total.
