This Connie Doll was manufactured by Deluxe Reading in the late 1950's and she was designed to compete with Patti Play Pal by Ideal. I received her in 1959; I'm the original owner of this doll and it's been a difficult decision to sell her. This doll is VERY HARD to find...in any condition. So if you're collector of the hard plastic dolls, she'd be wonderful in your collection. She's been very gently played with...

She is 30" tall and has a hard plastic body in excellent condition with a soft vinyl head, she's jointed at the neck, arms and legs. She has beautiful blue sleep eyes that open and close with perfect lashes, and glowing facial coloring, a pretty painted mouth and rooted dark Blonde saran hair.

She comes redressed in a darling period correct outfit: white tights, red coat, red dress, red bloomers and red hat trimmed in black also black patent leather Maryjane shoes. She also comes with three other outfits for Christmas and Easter and more shoes that are vintage styled too. She fits perfectly in baby clothes size 0-3 months making her fun to dress.

Until recently when we had water damage in our bedroom from an ice dam on our roof, I had her original box and it said on the box:

"Connie, Just Like A Three Year Old" she's completely unbreakable with movable arms and legs and rooted saran hair.
