This is a French night light or candle holder. The age is circa 1930.

There are two pieces. The cranberry or light ruby red glass is hand blown and hangs from a brass metal holder. A small candle goes inside the glass.

The brass holder is on a round base. There is a stem that comes up and from the top, dangling on chains, is the glass.

The glass shows some air bubbles. There is one bubble on the top edge that is clear in color. The glass is not flashed. The brass has some age patina. There are no maker’s marks.

The night light is about 6 ¼” high and 4” wide.
