This is a late 19th century English glass bowl in a beautiful blue color. The region is Stourbridge. The age is circa 1890.

The bowl is 4 ¾” high and 9 1/8” wide.

The rim has an applied trail of clear crimped glass. The trail goes down a few inches at four specific points around the bowl. The ends of these trails have radiating cracks within the glass, which I show in the last photo.

There are three round balls of clear glass applied to the bottom as feet. The bottom of the feet are polished flat. There are a few indentations around the flat bottoms, which may be smoothed out chips or a professional repair.

The outside of the bowl has enameled flowers and foliage, in the colors of white, red, yellow, green, lavender, purple and pink. There is another cluster of enameled flowers and leaves on the inside bottom of the bowl. There is a small loss of enamel from the hand painted decoration.

The pontil is round, polished and slightly concave. I show a close-up of the pontil in the last photo.

There are some air bubbles. There are no chips, cracks or nicks, other than the ends of the trails showing cracks within the glass. There is some white enamel inside the bowl, and little specks of it around the pontil.
