444/RL-112
This is a French Haviland & Co Limoges invalid feeder. The hard paste porcelain is all white. The age is 19th century, circa 1876 to 1880.
The invalid feeder is 3 ½” high to the top of the spout, and 5 ¼” by 4 7/8”. The handle is on one side and the spout is on the left adjacent side. The cup is round, with a shelf half way over the top to keep the liquids from spilling. The inside has a strainer at the spout, equivalent to what you see inside a teapot.
There is one brown age line along the upper part of the handle, which I show in a close up photo. There are no other chips, cracks or crazing.
The green underglaze mark is H&Co.
