494/RL-170 This is a 19th century French Haviland Barbotine vase, painted in the Impressionistic Japonisme style by the artist Edouard Alexandre Dammouse at the Auteuil Studio in Paris. The age is circa 1876 to 1882. The vase is large, in an oval or ovoid shape. The vase has the original metal insert, so there are two pieces. The vase weighs about 6 ½ pounds. 495/RL-171 This is a 19th century French Haviland Barbotine vase, painted in the Impressionistic Japonisme style by the artist Philibert-Leon Couturier at the Auteuil Studio in Paris. The age is circa 1876 to 1882. Couturier mostly painted barnyard fowl or poultry, such as ducks, chickens, roosters and geese, and also birds of prey. The vase is massive; it weighs over 17 pounds and it is 19 ¼” long, 13” high and 5” wide. The age is circa 1876 to 1882, 19th century.
