368/RL-17 This is a beautiful French Paris faience, or soft paste porcelain or pottery, vase. The age is 19th century, circa 1850 - 1870. The vase is 8 ¾” high, 7 ¼” long and 3 ½” wide. The vase has a bulbous shape, flaring out at the sides, and tapering in at the foot and neck. The outside is glazed a rich blue deep cobalt blue, and there is shading to the glaze, going from a darker to a brighter shade of the cobalt blue.
