021008-3/RL-283 This is a gorgeous cranberry cut glass vase made by the Bohemian glass maker Joseph Marian Pohl. The date is the 20th century, perhaps as early as 1910, but no later than the 1930s. The vase is 8 1/8” high and 5 ½” wide at the top. The glass is of substantial weight. Around the middle of the glass is what is called a pen and ink sketch drawing, a scenic painting that completely encircles the vase. Pohl created this type of decoration.
