We respond no later than 24 hours on business days (Tuesday through Saturday) and will endeavor to answer your questions sooner. We guarantee that we have researched the items we sell and have provided the best information we can about each item. Our business is built on maintaining customer satisfaction.
Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays for actual shipping and handling plus insurance.
Please do not attempt to return an item due to shipping damage. Should it occur in spite of my careful packaging, this must be handled through the shipping agent with an insurance claim. I will be happy to assist in this. Always be sure to retain all original packaging if a claim is to be made as the shipping agent will request to examine it. If you can photograph the damage that is also helpful.
If you purchase more than one item at a time, I will ship them together (if possible) to save you money on shipping.
All items are expertly packed and insured. Our shipments are packed to give the buyer assurance against carrier theft or pilferage. Our return address gives the shop-owners name as well as the business name, and no insurance stamps or stickers give any clues as to contents value with the exception of international shipping.
The buyer pays shipping, handling and insurance. We ship items Tuesday-Saturday via USPS.
We will schedule UPS, or FEDEX on request and ship as quickly as possible with these carriers.
Depending on the size, value, and fragility of your item, there may be a delay to allow adequate time for safely packing your items; we will always disclose delays if any. If an item needs to be crated, we will provide that information. We are always happy to email an estimate of time and cost, if you will provide your zip code to us.
Shipment: Your item will be mailed after verified clearance of your Personal or Business check (please allow 15 banking days) and after actual funding of PayPal "E-Check" (please allow 5 banking days).
If you pay with money orders or credit cards, your item will be mailed on the next mailing day following receipt of funds in our accounts. PayPal and all credit card purchases will be shipped to verified/confirmed credit card billing addresses ONLY; please ensure that you give the correct shipping address on your Ruby Lane purchase order.
We take great care to securely package your purchase. All jewelry items are boxed individually and then bubble wrapped inside the exterior package. Shipping and insurance is already included for all items shipped within the United States and Canada. For international customers we will determine the best shipping method based on an international customer's location.
We ship items several times during the week. Please let us know if you have an urgent shipping time requirement. We will make every effort to ship your item to arrive in the time you specify. If we are not able to do so, we will notify you within 24 hours of receipt of the purchase order.
The cost of Shipping plus Insurance will be added to your purchase total. Insurance is mandatory and items will not be shipped without it. There is never a Handling Charge.
Please feel free to inquire as to the Shipping and Insurance costs for any item. Please include your Zip Code for domestic destinations or your Country and Postal Code for international destinations.
Once a purchase order is placed for an item, it is expected that the buyer will fund that purchase order within three business days. Items will not be marked sold until receipt of the item by the buyer and the buyer is pleased with their purchase (usually verified via email correspondence). Until these steps are processed, the item will remain as "Sale Pending" on Ruby Lane.
Restocking Fee:
Our shop does not have a restocking fee.
Other Information:
Items sold for delivery within the State of Tennessee will be charged a state sales tax rate of 9.25 percent.
