This item belonged to my grandfather who studied engineering in Germany just after the turn of the century (1906). It is pewter and has scenes from Freiburg in the Batten-Wurttenbug section of Germany. The scenes depicted are the Munster (medieval cathedral), the "Bathus," and the war memorial (Kriegerdenkmal). This jigger has a makers mark "J.R. with an M underneath the JR" stamped on the bottom. The jigger is 2.25 inches tall (5.63 cm) and 1 1/2 inches (3.75 cm) in diameter at its widest point. It is in good condition.
