About Us
My bricks and mortar store is located in an 1823 building that has always been a general store. At the corner of Gay and Main Streets (149 E. Main Street, Dandridge, Tennessee), it is located in the heart of the Dandridge National Register Historic District across from the county courthouse. It was restored in 2005 after being closed for 20 years. The Dandridge General Store shares gallery space with Rachel's Attic, a shop specializing in general line antiques.

The mission of my store is to bring to the discriminating consumer handmade artisan items, that include antique and modern works.

The philosophy is to bring unusual and well-crafted items to a range of buyers. Some items are eclectic and others are functional. All are items that have broad interest and appeal. Most items originate in the United States.

Most of my customers are repeat shoppers. They come to my store for the unusual and for the fascination they have in understanding their history and the artifacts that illustrate their sense of place.

A premium is placed on customer satisfaction, and all questions are answered as fully and as quickly as we are able.
