Beautiful brooch/pendant done in the fashion of a basket of flowers and is stamped 14K and is yellow gold. This items has a professional appraisal for $1950.00 and I will use some of their descriptions. Any serious buyer may request a copy of the appraisal. Also the buyer will get an original of the appraisal plus a copy. The appraisal was done on September 12, 2007 by David J. Mrizek, Certified Gemologist Appraiser (A.G.S.) American Gem Society. The appraisal is quoted "Insurance Appraisal" and order through the office of David Jeffrey in Sacramento, CA. It states that the following information is for identification and replacement costs. At the time the appraisal was done gold value was 702.90 per ounce. This appraiser does only replacement costs and gives no value to either collectible value or antique value. There are 8 oval mixed cut Tourmaline measuring (6) 5x3mm and (2) 6x4mm. They are yellowish green in color, dark toned and moderately strong saturation. There are 5 round Cabochon cut Garnets measuring 4mm each. Purplish red color, medium dark tone, moderately strong saturation. There is a single half drilled freshwater cultured pearl measuring approx. 7x6mm, white color, mostly free of blemishes. There are 8 combination (5) round mixed cut Garnets measuring approx. 4mm each and (3) oval mixed cut Garnets measuring 5.0x3.5mm each Orangy Red color, dark tone, moderately strong saturation. There is one chipped prong set into the floral designs. There are 17 round Rose Cut Garnets measuring approx. 1.75 mm each, orangy red color, dark tone, moderately strong saturation. There are 4 round Cabochon cut Turquoise measuring approx. 3 mm each, blue color, opaque. The fashion basket measures 50mm long and 48mm wide and is secured with a hinged pin stem and catch with a "O" ring bale at the top. Overall Weight is 17.7 grams.
