Way too large for my HP & scanned in two parts, so ignore the imaginary vertical line & the different shading left & right (see the 2d & 3d scans for accurate views) -- a vintage original from The Gibson Book: A Collection of the Published Works of Charles Dana Gibson in Two Volumes (Scribner’s Sons -- 1906) -- Gibson (1867-1944) captured the spirit of the age in his magazine illustrations, especially those of young women — this offering, however, eschews pretty chicks for older birds -- originally published in LIFE Magazine, it is on well preserved medium- to heavy-stock, still-glossy paper with another drawing on the reverse side that is not visible unless the piece is held up to a strong light -- occasional small tears along the borders, repaired with clear tape on the back to prevent further damage -- may be too brittle to roll, so shipping in a heavy cardboard stay-flat mailer @ c. $3.00 is included in the price (if you reside outside the USA, add $2.50 for AIRMAIL S&H to Canada; $5.00 for shipping elsewhere) -- overall page as shown in last scan @ c. 16.5 x 11 inches -- click on the above pic & scroll down the next page to see an enlarged view (at 100%) & matting margins
