Featuring a flock of brant (Branta bernicla -- geese) & a vast expanse of wetlands -- originally published in 1909, artist: Lynn Bogue Hunt, a NM print made directly from the much larger original, and taken from a scarce bound portfolio edited by Sid Latham, Great Sporting Posters of the Golden Age (1978 -- long out-of-print) -- a very nice piece, plain-back, heavy-stock, coated (still-glossy) & well-preserved @ c. 11 x 16” overall -- clear graphics & text, and in all great decor ideal for display in an old large frame -- this print was made using a process that included a precise photographic transfer of the original image, with the express legal permission of the owner as of Mr Latham’s compilation in the mid-1970s (put simply, this is an authorized high-quality print) -- click on the above pic & scroll down the next page to see 2 enlarged views (too large for my scanner bed & shot w/ a digital camera, so pardon the misalignment, slight fuzziness, & any shadows or glare)
