Beautiful hollow gold-filled Victorian brooch! A raised flower created from more gold-filled metal sits in the center of an engraved oval frame. The center of the flower contains a glass rich red prong-set and glued stone surrounded by opalescent moonstone beads. The c clasp and t-style hinge dates this piece before the turn-of-the-century. It is unsigned and in very good condition, with some evidence of past repair and wear to the metal. The brooch measures 2" by 1 1/2".
