Marked Silveroin on the inside frame of this fabulous Art Nouveau purse. The design on the front is that of leaves and flowers a very popular theme in the Art Nouveau period. Silveroin was made by the Bristol Manufacturing Company of Attleboro, MA from 1895-1915. The purse also bears the initials MEB in the center. There is a chain at the top and a latch at the top of the frame that opens the purse. The purse design is curved on both sides and makes it so easy tohold in your hands too. The purse opens to reveal the original peach colored fabric with three compartments. A center one that would be the perfect place to hold a calling card perhaps. The lining is torn in places but still exists. The overall condition is excellent with some small dings on the bottom left hand corner but it is not visible from the front. Measuring approx. 3" x 3-1/2" x 1/2" deep and a chain of approx. 7-1/2" long.
