Composition Effanbee F&B Grumpy Soldier doll 11"

This little guy is from Effanbee F&B with the Grumpy face. He is dressed in his original clothes although if he originally wore a cap, it is missing. None of the clothing is marked.

He is 11 inches tall and the back of his shoulderplate is marked Effanbee Dolls Walk-Talk- Sleep. His shoulderplate and arms are composition. The body is cloth with hard composition feet painted brown for boots.

He has very light surface crazing with a few rubs in his hair. In the enlarged photos old glue residue is visible on the back of his head - possibly from how his hat was originally attached. He has lost his hat though.

The only damage to report is the palms of both hands have splits/cracks. There crotch of the cloth body has been resewn. There is also a small stain on the back of his jacket. The cloth does have age related soiling - he was gently played with. The oilcloth belt is intact but VERY fragile at the buckle.
