The Tootsie Toy dollhouse pedestal sink is part of the bathroom set made in the 1930s and is painted in the rare color combination of black with a cream basin. It has stationary hot and cold faucets that are also painted cream. It measures 1 7/8” t x 1 3/8” w x 1” d and is marked “Tootsie Toy”. In excellent condition with minimal paint loss along the sink edge and faucets.

Manufactured by the Chicago based Dowst Brothers firm from 1922 to 1937, Tootsie Toy furniture is made of cast metal in 1/2” scale. The colorfully enameled furniture followed popular furniture styles of the 1920s and 30s.
