This colorful Tootsie Toy dollhouse kitchen hutch from the 1920s is part of the kitchen set. It has non-working doors and drawers and is painted green. It measures 2 1/2” t x 1 5/8” w x 1” d and is marked “Tootsie Toy”. It is in good condition with scattered paint loss and no bent or broken parts.

Manufactured by the Chicago based Dowst Brothers firm from 1922 to 1937, Tootsie Toy furniture is made of cast metal in 1/2” scale. The colorfully enameled furniture followed popular furniture styles of the 1920s and 30s.
