This outstanding antique Bliss dollhouse lithographed ABC sofa in original condition features the letters A B C on the sofa back, D E on the seat cushion, P Q on the arm rests and R S on the outside of the arms. The red letters, surrounded by elaborate designs in red, blue and gold, feature Victorian children at play. Handcrafted in pine, it has curved arms and seat cushion and large onion bulb legs. The elaborate scroll cut back is made of cardboard.

The lithography is bright and clean with a small stain on the sofa back. All the paper is intact. The wood feet are in excellent condition. One has been re-glued to the sofa base. Made in 1" scale, it measures 3 1/2" t x 5 1/2" w x 1 5/8" d (9 cm t x 14 cm w x 4 cm d). A super piece to add to your Bliss ABC collection.
