Antique German Cast Metal Dollhouse Fireplace 1880s - 1900 1" Scale

This uncommon antique German cast metal dollhouse fireplace is highly detailed and very sought after! Finished in cream enamel paint, the fireplace has an arched black surround with gold accents. The grey firebox is fitted with a soft metal grate and fender in gold with copper colored "glowing embers". Decorative round columns, an embossed scroll work design over the firebox and a distinctive scalloped and beveled mantel add further detail. It even has paneled sides! The checkerboard "tile" hearth with clover leaf design, is painted black and grey with light grey grout lines.

This stunning fireplace is crafted in 1" scale and measures 4" t x 5 1/2" w x 1 7/8" d. In very good condition with a small dent in the surround and overall crazing but very little paint loss and no broken or missing parts. A fine collector's piece for your Victorian dollhouse.
