Austria 1920-30s: Draft for a shop for leather goods in Vienna, Alligator. The image depicts a young black lady, holding a bag while riding an alligator.
The size is 9 x 11,5 inches. There is some creasing, especially at the right lower corner.
It is an original watercolour draft by the Viennese painter Hans Suessenbeck.
Johann Suessenbeck, academic painter and graphic designer ( 1906 – 2000 ), was a rewarded Austrian States award, M. Neuber award and Meisterschul-award.
It sure looks great when matted and framed.
